Then join as our new Logistics Optimiser for our production facilities in Thyregod, our competence center for polyurethane production of roof windows.
Your challenges
As our new Logistics Optimiser you are responsible for developing, implementing and applying SAP solutions that ensure efficient production planning. You will be an important contributor in ensuring the best possible logistics setup, and your daily work will involve collaboration and interaction with colleagues from Central Planning, Global Logistics and your factory colleagues from warehouse and production. In addition, you will:
Take part in production planning and scheduling, ensuring the best possible flow in our production facilities and develop the most optimal planning, in close collaboration with the production departments
Identify optimisation potential for logistic- and purchasing processes and systems for the benefit of the factory supply chain
Ensure smooth commissioning of new products in the supply chain
Participate in capacity and warehouse management, highlighting any bottlenecks
Support for production and purchasing master data
Logistic projects across the Product Introduction factories
You will identify and implement durable and effective solutions that directly contribute to a smooth production process across our factory. You may also be involved in projects together with your colleagues and other specialists, e.g. to develop our visual planning for the factory.
Your qualifications
Your knowledge of SAP is likely combined with an education within logistics, production, supply chain, engineering, business or similar. In addition, you may have a few years of experience working in a production company.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you have a structured way of working and are motivated by working with process flows. You are able to create relationships with our shopfloor colleagues and understand their requirements, for which you and your colleagues find possible solutions.
You will collaborate with different nationalities across the VELUX organisation and therefore good communication skills as well as fluency in English and Danish both orally and in writing are required.
