Do you want to be part of our innovative, committed and expanding Group Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) Function? We are currently looking for an agile Product Owner specializing in Screening, encompassing both name and transaction screening. You will work in an agile team consisting of developers, testers, business analysts, an incident manager, and a scrum master. The agile team is part of a larger tribe which covers different capabilities within Financial Crime Prevention including Fraud, Transaction Monitoring, Market Surveillance and Rogue Trading.
What you will be doing
You will work as a product owner for SEB’s central screening solution used by multiple branches and subsidiaries to perform Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media controls. Being a product owner means that you would be responsible for the team backlog and to implement the product vision and strategy in your area. Together with the scrum master you would lead the agile team to assure that everyone works towards agreed objectives on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for maximizing the value outcome of the team, by optimizing backlog content within team capacity and financial frames. You will have a close communication and collaboration with different agile teams, business and process owners and other relevant stakeholders. You will work as a subject matter expert within the screening area to help guide and support all those teams/units and strengthen SEB’s screening capabilities.
You will be reporting directly to Group Head Of Screening but you will also have a close collaboration with the Chief Product Owner of the Tribe.
Who we are looking for
The role of a product owner is crucial in ensuring the success of an agile development team. Apart from previous experience from an Agile way-of-working, you need relevant product and domain knowledge to be able to succeed. We are therefore looking for someone with 5-10 years of relevant experience with the following qualifications and skills:
- Strong understanding and experience of Name and Transaction Screening. Including Sanctions, PEP and Adverse media.
- Experience with agile methods and principles
- Excellent prioritization and decision making
- Great stakeholder management abilities
- Strong communication skills
- A User-Centric Mindset
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven leadership and collaboration experience
- A true team player
